2011 Ferrari 599 GTO was already a great supercar
So the 599 GTB was already a great supercar when it first appeared in 2006, featuring a 5999cc V12 positioned at the front of the car longitudinally. It develops 611bhp and 448lb ft of torque and all of that power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual transmission or Ferrari's 6 speed 'F1 Superfast' automated manual transmission with paddle shifters.
The 599 GTO is a blend of some of Ferrari's top technology from Formula One and road cars and occupies a niche between the 599 GTB & 599 XX. More menacing and less refined than a GTB, less raucous than an XX. This car is the best expression of a sports car Ferrari has ever made. A 6.0 liter, V12 engine that produces 670 hp at 8500 rpm and 457 lb-ft torque at 6,500 rpm and capable of impressive acceleration numbers to the tune of 0 to 62 mph in just 3.35 seconds. The engine is paired with an F1 six-speed gearbox, which has the same 60-millisecond shift times as the 599XX. The car has a curb weight of only 3,538 lbs. Only 599 cars will be produced and there are several custom colors and two-tone paint finishes exclusively for this GTO model. Designed by Pininfarina, the front, side and rear are bolder and more aggressive than its parent. Inside, a Virtual Race Engineer allows the driver to monitor the status of the car and its performance. Extensive use of carbon fiber is apparent, including in the cockpit where it is used both to reduce weight and as a design element. Ferrari's dedication to the GTO model is legendary, with two previous highly revered models. The three iconic letters, which stand for Gran Turismo Omologato, summon the spirit of the original 1962 250 GTO, the 288 GTO which helped spawn the modern supercar era and the F40, the fastest street legal production car from 1987 to 1989 and the most expensive model at that time. The 250 GTO won no fewer than three consecutive World Sportscar Championships and it is today the most sought-after collector's car on the market.

Find out why the 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO
With the return of the legendary 'GTO' badge to a Ferrari for 2010, the question being asked by most people familiar with sports cars and Ferrari in particular is, 'is this the best sports car in the world?'
The model lucky enough to get the GTO treatment and wear the badge is Ferrari's two seat flagship the 599 GTB Fiorano. The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was introduced in 2006 to replace the 575 Maranello. In it's first year the 599 won the Evo car of the year, Evo being the premiere Magazine in Britain focusing on driver oriented cars and a global authority on performance cars.

The New 2011 Ferrari-612
For the past few years, Ferrari is still considered one of the most popular vehicles on the planet. Here are a couple of models to consider when searching for a new and used Ferrari.

1. Ferrari Enzo (FXX)
A car is really good if Ferrari names it after its founder Enzo Ferrari. The Enzo FXX is a project still going, with the car getting updates still. The Enzo FXX is sold only when you're chosen by Ferrari and changes owner for about EUR1,300,0000. Maintenance is huge, about EUR40,000 per year. But everyone will look at you when you drive one, guaranteed. And when it's dark out... I dare you to take it out for a spin.

20 years of running Tunisia and making enemies, while abusing the position of power, and gathering personal wealth including this Ferrari 599 GTB ... finally resulted in him running for his life, and these smart guys with a forklift going in and getting his Ferrarithe first 12 seconds are all that show the forklift cruising away from the palace with the Ferrari, the rest is footage from inside the trashed palace.

2012 Ferrari 458-NightHawk combines extreme performance
Ferrari aimed to make this car driver-friendly, and to do that they made sure that a standard automatic transmission would be used. The 458 doesn't have a manual option; instead, the Getrag dual-clutch 7-speed transmission handles all the shifting duties.

With the new 458 Challenge, Ferrari combines extreme performance, superb fun behind the wheel with unique driving emotions for its sporting, professional and gentleman-driver clients.

2011 Ferrari 458 NightHawk
To simply call the 458's engine powerful would be too much of a compliment to other powerful engines on the road. The mid-rear mounted (a first for Ferrari) 4499 cc V8 direct injection engine is dominant on all fronts. The engine is able to deliver 570 CV at 9000 rpm and has a power output of 127 CV per litre.

To reduce weight from the already light 458 Italia, engineers used thinner body panels and carbon fiber as well as Lexan wherever possible in this track-only model. Equipped with lightweight body panels and specially tuned suspension, the 458 Italia Challenge is the first Challenge racer to use the F1-Trac traction control system and it is Ferrari's first racing application of the dual-clutch seven-speed transmission. The F1-Trac system allows to constantly monitoring levels of grip for maximum high-performance road-holding and it is fully integrated with the E-Diff to guarantee maximum acceleration and stability into and out of corners. The ABS/EBD, F1-Trac and E-Diff calibration settings are selected thru the manettino placed in the steering wheel. It is the first time this solution has been adopted on a Ferrari Challenge series model. The driver can choose from three configurations: OFF (traction control deactivated), position 1 and position 2, which have progressively higher levels of control system intervention.

2011 The Ferrari-458 is Super Fast Cars
The engine is the same block as used in the California too, except it takes on different characteristics after the aluminum has been cast. The stroke has been increased to give 4.5 litres instead of 4.3 and it is now good for 9000 revs and 562 bhp. That's 125 bhp per litre. And there are no turbo's or superchargers involved here. That's also a 70 bhp increase over the ordinary F430 but despite this, the 458 Italia is more economical and produces less CO2.

Let's talk performance. The 458 provides a huge power to weight ration and provides massive speed which doesn't just build and build - it's like a rocket ship all the way through the gears and right up to 9000 revs. In terms of the transmission the gearbox is a triumph and despite being a double clutched set-up with paddles on the wheel it is always very responsive and never feels removed or clinical. The throttle is almost too sensitive with no room to ease on the power with subtlety, which feels almost at odds with the refined transmission. Sound wise the 458 Italia delivers like you would expect from a Ferrari with a vicious roar and a throaty burble on the over-run.

Ferrari 430 VS Porsche 911 Carrera S
The Ferrari 430 and Porsche 911 Carrera S are two sports cars that are begging to be compared in road tests. What are the results ? Well the Ferrari 430 will zoom from 0 to 100km in 4 seconds while the Porsche does it in 4.8 seconds. Hardly something you can consider slow, but when comparing it to the 430 it is noticeably slower. For fast acceleration like this, both sports cars will need sport brakes, both offer ceramic disc brakes.

Ferrari 430
The 30 stands for the engine size in liters. It was really 2926cc which is 2.926 liters, and was then rounded up to 3.0 liters. Since the numbers never had decimal points it was just 30. Now the last part or the 8 was for the number of cylinders or 8. So taken together, the 308 number means a V8 engine of about 3 liters in capacity. All Ferraris do not use this approach, so be careful and don't assume a car like a Ferrari 330 is a 3.3 liter engine with zero cylinders.

2010-2011 The Ferrari 430
The Ferrari 430 was built by Ferrari from 1975 to 1985. The model number 308, in typically Ferrari fashion, does not make a lot of sense to non Ferrari fans. But if you understand some of the number methods that have been used over the years you can puzzle it out, sometimes.

Both exotic sports cars are more than 50 years old with cutting edge engineering and exquisite styling. These two cars have always been compared for many reasons since they are race cars, cars of status for the rich. Most people always correlate these cars with style and performance.
