2012 Subaru Impreza MF1 Concepts
It's been a long time in the making but we're finally going to get our first glimpse of Subaru's version of the Toyota FT-86 RWD Coupe, which is a joint project from the two companies, at the upcoming Geneva Salon in March. The somewhat blandly named “Subaru Rear Wheel Drive Sports Car Technology Concept” will share the spotlight with the Impreza Concept (pictured above) and the Trezio mini MPV, both of which will receive their European premiere at the Swiss motorshow.

Do you know what a bull bar is? If you are very interested in the automobile, you must be familiar with this term. A bull bar (also named as grille guard) is a huge tubing device attached to the front of a vehicle, with the purpose of avoiding or minimizing the damage to the vehicle's exterior body when car collisions take place. This device was firstly introduced in Australia, to avoid the bull walking on the road bumping into the front of the vehicle. After decades of development, it has become an extremely good part of a vehicle, especially a SUV or a truck.

2011 Subaru Forester: it’s not the most refined compact SUV
As you might be aware, Subaru Forester headlights and tail lights are by no means inexpensive. These are quality auto parts and come at a price. Brand new ones especially can be pretty hard on the pocket and then there are the fitting charges to be paid to the mechanic as well. Since there are a lot of costs involved with replacing a broken or in some cases, a faulty headlamp or tail lamp assembly, it is wise to look at options by which one can minimize the expenses.

he 2011 Subaru Forester has standard all-wheel drive and a low base price, making it one of the better values in the class for drivers who frequently encounter foul weather.

All New The 2011 Subaru Forester

While it is hard to physically guard the lights of your vehicle every time, there is always a better option available that involves driving sensibly. Even then if you unfortunately happen to break any of the headlamps or tail lamps, there is the last option of replacement. Since most lights assemblies cannot be repaired once broken, it is imperative that a replacement be fitted as soon as possible to avoid any further damage to the electrical systems of the car.

2011 Subaru Outback Really Coming
If you have been driving a Legacy over the years and have actually needed to replace a few worn out auto parts along the line, you would be having first-hand experience of how heavy brand new parts can be on the pocket. But that doesn't mean you can go for spurious re-made and aftermarket parts. These will destroy your vehicle in the long run. Be sure to buy only OEM parts whether brand new or used.

The 3.6R Premium will have a starting price of $28,995 and includes all 3.6R base model features along with 10-way power driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and All-Weather Package.

2011 The Subaru Outback
Subaru has recently received accolades for the quality of its products. Following the 2009 Subaru Forester's win as Motor Trend Sport-Utility Vehicle ("SUV") of the year, the 2010 Subaru Outback debuted to again win the award for the 2011 model year.
The 2011 Subaru Outback Limited 3.6R AWD model offers a 3.6L, 256hp, H6 engine, as opposed to 2009's 3L, 245hp, H6 engine. The Torque is now 247 @ 4400 RPM, as opposed to last year's 215 @ 4200. While still consisting of 4 valves, the new Outback has a 3630 displacement, up from the 2999 offered in the 2009 model. The 2010 offers a 3.6 x 3.6 inch bore/stroke, with the 2009 offering only 3.5 x 3.1. The compression ratio is down to 10.5:1, as opposed to the 2009 model's 10.7:1. The changes have resulted in a little better gas mileage, with the 2010 Subaru Outback getting an estimated 18mpg city and 25 highway, as opposed to the 2009's 17 and 24 respectively.

The 2011 New Subaru Outback
Subaru is performing well in a difficult automotive sales environment in the U.S. In 2009, it moved from 11th place from 19th place in terms of auto manufacturer sales in the U.S. While it is well established in the northeast and northwest, the Japanese automaker has been targeting areas such as Atlanta and Dallas to grow the company. 2011 is also looking bright as sales are up 41 percent in the U.S. through April of this year.

The Sport/Utility of the year Subaru MOTOR TREND’s 2010 Powered Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) system

Subaru MOTOR TREND’s 2010 Sport/Utility of the year
The Sport/Utility of the year Subaru MOTOR TREND’s 2010 Powered Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) system.
Tokyo, October 16, 2009 – Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, today announced that Subaru of America, Inc.* released the Subaru Outback (US specifications model) was named MOTOR TREND’s 2010 Sport/Utility of the year. The Subaru Outback’s victory follows the Subaru Forester’s win for the 2009 award, making Subaru the first automaker to win two consecutive MOTOR TREND Sport/Utility of the Year awards.
Living up to Subaru’s legendary safety record, the Outback offers cutting-edge safety technology, including Subaru’s ring reinforcement safety system, front, seat-mounted side, and side-curtain airbags and ABS. Subaru Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) system, which incorporates stability and traction control systems with a roll-over sensor, is also standard equipment. The Subaru Outback was recently named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS).
To judge contenders for the award, MOTOR TREND‘s editorial staff conducted an exhaustive three-phase testing process. Phase one of the process includes a full tech check and weigh-in, then full track testing to establish baseline data for acceleration, braking, and handling. Phase two involves three days of road loops offering a range of road surfaces and traffic conditions to evaluate ride and handling, engine and transmission smoothness and responsiveness, wind and road noise, and ergonomics. A dirt-track section tests traction, stability, and braking control systems. In phase three the judges debate and deliberate.
This year, the editors updated and expanded the judging criteria to six new categories: Design Advancement, Engineering Excellence, Intended Function, Efficiency, Safety and Value.
MOTOR TREND’s Sport/Utility of the Year® is not a comparison test and is only open to all-new or substantially upgraded vehicles that have gone on sale in the 12 months from November 1 of the previous year. MOTOR TREND looks for the pick of each year’s crop of new SUV’s, and does not revisit vehicles that have been on sale for the past few years.
