The new generation of small car Kia Picanto brought in May 2011 as a five-door model on the market, now follows – for the first time at the Picanto – a three-door model.

After two teaser shots and a couple of leaked images earlier today, Kia’s “activity MPV” concept, the KV7, finally hit the showroom floor at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.Designed to challenge the notion that minivans are strictly for transporting people, the KV7 stands out with its boxy design and, according to the Koreans, also wants to serve as a “connected social hub for groups of friends and adventure-seekers”.

“From the outset, we felt the category was in need of an honest reassessment due to the fact that everyone seems so desperate to attach the word “sporty” to their MPV even though MPVs, at their very core, are simply a box”, said Tom Kearns, Chief Designer, Kia Motors America. “Rather than reject the box we chose to celebrate it, just like we did with the Soul, and the result is a straightforward yet sophisticated vehicle that retains the functionality MPVs are known for and meets the changing and diverse needs of today’s consumers”.

New 2010 Kia-Optima is a Powerful cars

Ever see a TV car commercial and wonder what the song was? I have and I know you have too! The song may be catchy, a great cover or for whatever reason you have to know the song and probably run out to buy it.

In its third model year (2003), the Optima's front end was restyled, which gave it a more upscale European look. In addition, Kia began to offer Sportmatic manual-shift capability on four-cylinder automatic Kia Optimas. The biggest improvement of the new Kia Optima is its exterior look. Unlike the previous generation of Optima's, this vehicle is actually based on the Hyundai Elantra HD (2007-) platform. Like the Sonata, the Optima is also longer and taller than the previous model and has a longer wheelbase. The differences between the Optima and Sonata are mostly in styling details, though the Kia is priced at $500 less.

Therefore, I've decided to share my findings with you so we can all stop wracking our brains trying to figure out the song title and artist.

Many prospective buyers have avoided some of the sedans made by Kia due to the lack of available motor choices, but the 2010 Kia Optima Engine Options are far less limited and even could be considered impressive. The standard engine for the 2010 model has not changed significantly from 2009 and remains the 2.4 Liter V4 that delivers 175 horsepower and 169 pound feet of torque. The fuel economy is fairly competitive within its class and is an estimated 22mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Both a five speed manual and a five speed automatic are available to match with the motor and fuel economy increases slightly with the manual as does acceleration.

It's almost a common thing to see designers around the world create all kinds of futuristic concepts that have close to zero chances to enter production even in prototype form. In fact, most of these are the result of pure imagination and car companies don't even hear about them, although Internet users praise the designs and ask for a production model.

The brainchild of Mohammad R. Shojaie who has considerable liking for the super sport cars, this vehicle has been designed on the basis of the current design language of KIA. Dubbed the KIA Proport, which is the amalgamation of Pro plus Sport without the “S” character which means the fan of sport cars, the vehicle isn’t about designing a new style but KIA in a super-sport cloth. The vehicle has some of the famous elements of the KIA design and it seems an imagination worth commercialization.

This is exactly the car of the so-called Kia Proport, a sports car which goes way beyond what a Kia fan would expect from the South Korean manufacturer.
