The 2013MY Dodge Viper
With sales of the previous generation steadily declining over the years (only 392 were sold in 2010, when production ceased), a totally redesigned Viper could be just what the doctor ordered for Dodge.

As previously reported, the new model won’t be based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, as some sources suggested, while Gilles also clarified that it’s not going to have Ferrari powerplants either. The Dodge boss was also confident regarding the cost-effectiveness of the Viper, stating that it will be profitable.

2011 Dodge Ram Outdoorsman Front View
The next step up from projector style headlights are Dodge Ram Halo LED (Angel Eye) headlights. These add a beautiful looking LED ring around your headlights and have the award winning and lasting LED technology which ensures they can be seen even in the day. This is the newest technology you see being utilized first by Audi and now Mercedes and BMW, which are now available for your Dodge Ram. The biggest improvement that these newer Ram headlight technologies also add is the much lower power usage by these new lighting parts.

2011-2012 The Dodge Grand Caravan
What the Grand Caravan R/T boils down to is one thing: looks. Those "looks" go beyond the shared refreshed grill, fog lamps, curved wheel wells and body paint found in other trim levels of the Dodge Grand Caravan. Larger sport wheels and a body kit treatment to the nose are among the distinguishing exterior features. Inside, its black and grey interior gets some eye candy stitching across the seats and on the steering wheel. All editions of the Dodge get the same retuned suspension. Combined, Dodge hopes that these changes will get men to say "I want one" when most likely they'll be having to buy one for the family anyway.
Building a man van goes with the territory whereby Chrysler has separated its Dodge vehicles from its Ram trucks into two distinct brands. "Ram tough" describes the trucks while Dodge is now the performance division for the automaker. That means every model sold must have macho appeal from the compact Caliber on up.

Dented Wallets and Square Wheels: The 10 Worst Cars of 2010
In the age of high gas prices, hybrids and everyone supposedly going green like the government would make you think, the 2010 class of cars, SUV's and trucks took another hit this year with depreciation and upkeep costs. Just about all the top companies took a good hit in both categories of big and roomy and the supposedly fuel-efficient compact variety which is not as a big hit to people as many would tell you. Here's a listing of the worst performers of 2010 and vehicles you should avoid. These are not in any specific order. (contributed by Design 911)

It's hard to say really what tipped the "experts" off on this vehicle. It did rank poorly amongst safety and value but the one statistic that really stuck out was this vehicle got top honours for the most stolen vehicle out of everything that's out there. "Pimp My Ride" apparently does not apply here.

The Chevrolet Aveo5 1LT overall value is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to even more expensive models such as the Volkswagen Golf and Honda Civic. Consumer Reports concludes that "the ride is jittery and noise is constant." . What would you expect from driving something as small as a golf cart?

This vehicle has been rated poorly in just about in every aspect so I'm not going to waste my time telling you about it because what does matter is the fact that GM is soon doing away with this model as well as the Canyon. So, of course the best medicine would be to stay away from these models.

The SLT model is just another version of the Jeep Liberty but with lower marks. Consumers complained
how noisy this SUV is and how it lacks agility. There tended to be some sort of body lean which added difficulty for people steering. This would be the equivalent of pushing a baby stroller in gravel.

The 2010 Ford F-250 Lariat was ranked the worst on gas mileage getting on average just 10 mpg. This was a diesel engine model as well. Hate to see how an unleaded version would do. At this bad a rate of miles per gallon, one would think you'd have to get a bank loan just to get back and forth to work every three months.

The Unlimited Sahara was the main gripe but Jeep Wrangler overall has plummeted 23% in sales since the beginning of the year. Apparently it does well off-road but fell short when driven on-road. Handling is a challenge with vague steering and low cornering limits. It's reliability was another negative for consumers.

Car experts ridicule this unpopular gem for its cheap interior and poor performance. It is considered the worst midsize car for the money due to the high ownership costs. Its rate of depreciation is almost faster than watching paint dry.

Top honours for worst midsize SUV for the money, the Mountaineer (and its twin, Ford Explorer, which ranked right behind it) is truck-based. So therefore it makes it use more fuel than the competition and not something suited for city and suburban driving. If you live in this type area, the handling may cause a vein to pop out of your forehead as well.See another worst car 2010 here.

Dodge Caliber Startech
George Murphy, the senior vice president in Global Marketing of Daimler Chrysler, states, "Dodge Caliber is not your typical small car. The all new 2007 Dodge Caliber redefines the compact car by combining crossover styling with space-efficient packaging, interior flexibility, innovative features, and affordable performance. Caliber allows owners around the globe to be active, do more, and stand out - to live life to the fullest, and do so at a very competitive price."

If you want to stick with an American make, the Chevy HHR offers retro good looks and more cargo and passenger space, though it starts at about $2,000 more than the Caliber.

The Dodge Caliber receives some mild interior upgrades
If you don't think the Caliber is for you, consider looking at the Honda Fit. The Fit has a versatile cargo area, strong performance and build quality that some reviewers say is bullet-proof. It also starts at about $1,000 less than the Caliber. If you want standout styling similar to the Caliber's, check out the Scion xB. While it doesn't have as good a cargo capacity when the rear seat is in place, its aggressive looks that keep up with the Caliber's in-your-face exterior. If you want to stick with an American make, the Chevy HHR offers retro good looks and more cargo and passenger space, though it starts at about $2,000 more than the Caliber.

Aside from the change and improvement in power, the 2010 Dodge Caliber also boasts of new styling designs that is very much has a crossover feel. The design is very much a Dodge's and it is very much predicted that it will make soaring sales internationally. It sports innovative features for its owners and users. The change in power now gives its driver the chance to do more things unlike previously.

Dodge Challenger SRT8 : 1000hp speed test
The Dodge Challenger SRT8 CULT Motorsport has built about a year, but given its public debut at this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Threatening is the word that best defines him. If this muscle car is already very rough number, imagine a black paint and a body kit widebody widened to the absolute limits.
The tires have at least 22 inches and are wrapped in almost invisible profile tires. The brake system that lives in the wheels is higher than standard, would make sense. The menacing touch clearly puts the optics, surrounded by red LEDs, which creature from Hell. The Fog receive the same treatment, and the result is a menacing look, bloodshot and very aggressive.

Since the Challenger has received a very special motor preparation, as can be seen consisting of a huge inlet and compressor, protruding from the bonnet-style hot-rod. Technical data are unknown, but since it is an SRT8, carries a 6.1 V8 HEMI engine that delivers the power I doubt standard. In fact, it is rumored by some U.S. forums that their real power actually round figures close to 1,000 hp.

The Dodge Challenger Exhaust

The Dodge Challenger Exhaust
Before performing any service, repair, or part change on your Challenger or Jeep, it's important to consult your vehicle's manual to verify how often these part changes or services are necessary. Review the recommendations, warnings, and cautions before performing vehicle service and repair. It's recommended that you take care when working on or around your Jeep, Challenger, or any motor vehicle and take care not to attempt a repair that you lack the equipment to do. If you're unsure about repairing your Jeep, consult with a competent mechanic or take your vehicle in for service.

The Dodge Challenger Exhaust
The latest in engine innovation from Dodge is the 6.1-liter SRT Hemi V8, which will be the premiere engine option for the 2010 Dodge Challenger. This new Hemi engine has the most horsepower of any naturally aspirated engine ever offered in the Challenger, past or present. It produces a monstrous 425 horsepower and 420lb-ft of torque. This additional power comes thanks to redesigned cylinder heads, high-flow intake and exhaust systems, and aggressive camshaft profiles. Other changes made to the 6.1-liter SRT include an increased compression ratio of 10.3:1, and a reinforced valve train, which allows the engine to perform at a higher RPM.

2011 Mopar Dodge Challenger
A very hot topic & popular question is what changes 2011 will bring to the Dodge Challenger. For the most part the styling of the car will be the same save for a few cosmetic changes:
New Front Fascia (lower grill area is flipped upside down)
New Door Handles
Dual rear Exhaust (all models)
Redesigned front air dam (SRT)

2011 Mopar Dodge Challenger
The Dodge Challenger began its quick reign of power in the early 70's and had a four year run and then was put on hold for another four years that was followed up by five more years and then, gone. Until the third generation challenger emerged with full force in 2008. The debut of this long lost beast was Feb. 6, 2008. And yes it does come with a Hemi. Dodge/Chrysler did not hold back when recreating this animal. The first third year generation model was an SRT8 6.1 L Hemi V8 which came in the Hemi orange. The 2010 models will not be available in the Hemi orange but will be introducing the Plum Crazy and the Detonator Yellow. Regardless of what model you choose they all can be pushed to an even higher limit than Chrysler/Dodge had originally planned. One of the most popular upgrades whether you are a car enthusiast or not are Dodge Challenger Performance Exhaust systems.

Hybrids are gaining popularity with the steady increase in fuel costs and the growing knowledge that car emissions are destroying air quality. With the Dodge Durango Hybrid, you get to save on fuel and keep your roomy, sporty vehicle. The Dodge Durango Hybrid is a full-size SUV with three rows that can seat eight passengers and can tow up to six thousand pounds.

2012 Dodge Durango Hybrid
Production of the Dodge Durango sport-utility vehicle was discontinued in late 2008, but some unsold 2009 models remain available.
The 2009 Durango has standard front and side airbags, plus side curtain airbags that Dodge claims provide head protection to passengers in all three seating rows. It does not have seat belt pre-tensioners or other pre-collision systems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded the Durango its maximum five-star rating for driver and passenger protection in frontal collisions, but did not test its side-impact protection. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not tested the most recent Durango model.
